HELP TICKETS
The hardware and software available in the Visualization Studio is managed by both the Duderstadt Center and CAEN. If you encounter a problem with any of the software available in the Visualization Studio or experience a hardware malfunction, please use the form linked below to create a help ticket so we can address the issue for you. If the issue is isolated to a particular workstation, please note the workstation number located on the monitor and computer tower when submitting your help ticket.
NEW SOFTWARE TITLES OR UPDATED VERSIONS
Software requests are vetted on a case-by-case basis and our ability to offer a requested software may be determined by the intended class use in our space, software cost, as well as licensing terms. Because the Visualization Studio offers both Cloudpaged software managed by CAEN and locally installed software, we ask you to please submit any software requests prior to the following deadlines:
Fall Term Deadline: May 15
Winter Term Deadline: October 14
Summer Term Deadline: March 1
Before requesting software please check if the software you are interested in is already available in the CAEN CLSE. For software to be considered for inclusion in the CAEN CLSE, you must be teaching a course that uses the Visualization Studio. You do not need to be faculty affiliated with the College of Engineering. Please indicate in your request that the software is intended for use in the Duderstadt Center’s Visualization Studio.
